Spring is Coming

Gazania ChristopherLloyd2

It’s nice to see that the days are now starting to get a few minutes longer as spring approaches and we are past the middle of winter.

i now have a few varieties of vegetables planted in my vegetable garden – potatoes, broad beans, leeks, spring onions, kale, cabbage, beetroot, silver beet and sugar snap peas. As we get past the time when frosts may occur, I will add some tomatoes and other summer vegetables.

I wandered around the garden this morning and found that we had quite a variety of flowers that support the fact that spring is just around the corner.
