Incredible Small Things

I spent some time this weekend updating the appearance of my website. It’s a bit more modern, cleaner and a little ‘sharper’ looking.

Speaking of ‘sharper looking’, I also came across a video of an incredible British man named Willard Wigan. He is an artist who produces sculptures that are small enough to fit into the eye of a needle. Here are some examples of his work:

Not only are these incredibly detailed carvings fantastic, so is his story. He explains his life and his work in this video. I’m sure that you could be much more responsive than the audience in this video. I think that his work is well worth a few more ‘Ahhs and Wows’ than the audience give him. Take a few minutes to watch it. You can see more of his work at the Willard Wigan website.

A great story about a person with an ordinary start in life who found that he had a truly amazing talent! It’s very inspiring.
