We enjoy many friendships and the goal of our website is to keep our friends and family up to date with our activities, travel experiences (and occasionally) our views on life.

Perhaps our travel experiences will help you to see some fascinating parts of the world though our eyes. Maybe our experiences will help you in developing your own travel plans. It may be that our life events are similar to your own and bring back some fond memories of key parts of your life.

Some of our activities are described through a series of defined pages, and you can reach these through the menus at the top of each page. Our travels to different parts of the world are described in various categories.

We also welcome your comments. You can leave them through our contact page and on any of our blog page entries. We always look forward to people leaving their thoughts and comments. We value all contributions and find that they always add some value.

Thanks for visiting our web-site. Please enjoy our Website.

  1. Hi Bruce,
I hope you remember me – we spent some time together during the trip to Lord Howe Island in 2015 with David Burren and Michael. We said that we would keep in touch, but then life seems to have got in the way. I would like to be in contact again.
Looking forward to hearing from you

  2. Hi Rob,

I was looking into my Davey relations and seeing if there was a family reunion that I could join. I too come from John Davey and Elizabeth Edwards, just on Thomas Davey’s line who is a brother of Stephen who also came out.

Nice to see another relative checking out their cornish roots.

    Cheers, Heather

  3. Hi Bruce,
I was with 25 Sup Pl and finished writing my first book a couple of years ago. Have plans for two more, one in particular about RAASC Vietnam, but a little personal-such as your story. Could you make contact please.
    Thanks,

  4. Hi Bruce
Just read your latest blog, interesting.
I am part of Stawell Historical Society and I hope you don’t mind me pointing out one small error. Stawell Primary School is 502 not 582.

    Thanks for reading my message
    Kind regards
